Job Summary

The Division of Pediatric Nephrology at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital at the University of Michigan Medical Center is recruiting for a full-time board eligible or certified pediatric nephrologist at the Clinical Assistant, Clinical Associate or Clinical Professor level to provide a full range of pediatric nephrology clinical care. Duties also include teaching medical students, house officer and fellows rotating through the clinic and there are opportunities for clinical-based research.

Our Division is a multi-disciplinary team of faculty and advanced practice providers that support the general nephrology, transplant, dialysis and acute care nephrology clinical practices.  Existing nephrology research programs span the continuum of clinical, translational, bench and health services research with extensive collaborations throughout the University of Michigan as well as with extramural programs. 

Required Qualifications*

M.D. or M.D./Ph.D., Board eligible or certified pediatric nephrologist, hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the state of Michigan.  Evidence of clinical competency and competency in clinical and didactic teaching is expected.  The successful candidate must possess a full range of pediatric nephrology clinical skills.
