This is an exciting opportunity for an independent individual looking for experience in a unique role in the Centre of English Language and Foundation Studies. Offered as a 1 year maternity cover, this role would be especially suitable for those looking to take the next step in their career or broaden their experience.

The Learning Technologist post identifies and leads on enhancements in the way the Centre delivers teaching and other learning resources to thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate students across the institution. On a day-to-day basis, you will work alongside teachers and professional services associated with the Centre in their development and delivery of teaching and embedded learning technologies.

You must have excellent prioritisation and task management skills as you will be involved in several projects (including supporting the roll out of Windows 10 for all staff and a SharePoint intranet site). You will also be confident in communicating effectively with staff and students from across the world with varying levels of technical knowledge.

CELFS is a dynamic Centre which is expected to experience rapid growth in student numbers and teaching provision over the coming years. Find out more about the Centre on our website

It is expected that short-listed applicants will be interviewed 1 week after the closing date.

Closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 11th November

Interviews will be held on Monday 19th November
