Associate Lecturer in Law, Legal Practice and/or Criminology

Associate Lecturer - £43.55 to £48.99 per hour dependent on experience **
We are currently recruiting for an associate lecturer to teach alongside our permanent staff across the undergraduate law and criminology programmes.
As an associate lecturer you will, as required:
- attend any course induction sessions
- teach an allocated number of timetabled hours per week
- prepare teaching materials
- take part in the assessment of student work
- attend lectures / prepare lecture materials
- provide feedback on student work
- conduct weekly group/individual tutorials with an assigned group of students
- attend module, course, department meetings / away days
As a new associate lecturer, you will be paired with an existing lecturer, and additional guidance/support will be provided by your line manager/module/course leader.
Well-developed knowledge and understanding of a number of key areas in law, legal practice and/or criminology across one or more areas of the undergraduate curriculum is essential as is the ability to inspire, motivate and connect with a range of stakeholders e.g. students and external clients from a range of different backgrounds.
