About You

You will have experience of student engagement and organising events on student employability. Knowledge of current issues associated with employability and placements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both orally and in writing are a must as you will be working and networking with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally. A problem solver, you will also be comfortable using your own initiative, prioritising your workload and working effectively under pressure.

About the Role 

The post involves leading the development of new opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying a range of employability opportunities and by engaging with staff and industry, you will advance and maximise knowledge exchange collaborations. You will be responsible for driving, maintaining and managing our employability activity. In addition you will liaise with our Director of Employability and Faculty of Arts and Science E3i team to identify and manage student projects and overall, support students develop skills and behaviours which maintain the departments high standards on employability. You will work closely with colleagues within the Department, Faculty and wider University context to assist the integration of services within the Departments academic activities as well as coordinate a range of extra-curricular opportunities which support and develop students and future employment.
