Research Assistant Professor in Populations

Continuing our investment in new talent, we now seek Research Assistant Professors to contribute to the Faculty Niche Research Area in "Smart Societies". Successful candidates will be housed in one of our seven discipline-based Departments (Education Studies, Geography, Government & International Studies, History, Social Work, Sociology, and Sport & Physical Education).
Research Assistant Professor (Populations) (PR0159/18-19)
The appointees are expected to conduct original research in one or more indicative theme areas outlined below, and contribute to department-based teaching. Applicants should possess a relevant doctoral degree or equivalent qualifications with strong potential in research.
Family Studies, Social Policy, Migration, Ethnic and Racial Studies, Community Development, and Digital Divide.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of two to three years commencing March 2019. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement and availability of funding.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
