About the Job
The School of Natural and Built Environments (NBE) is a multi-disciplinary School that focuses on the unique relationships and synergies between natural and built environments, with a particular interest in teaching and research to support improved environmental and socio-economic sustainability for the future.
In this Teaching and Research Academic position, you will contribute to the development and delivery of teaching resources and activities at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. You will contribute independently, and as part of a team, to the School’s research outcomes and will carry out activities to maintain and develop scholarly, research and/or professional activities.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline along with experience in teaching, including design and preparation of teaching activities and resources in at least two of the following areas:
a. Quantity surveying
b. Construction economics
c. Project management
You will also bring in an established early research record including demonstrated success in both academic refereed and professional journals along with presentation of conference papers.
