About the job
The Associate Director, Transforming Learning is part of Education and Quality Services in the Academic Portfolio. The key function of the role is to assist the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education and Quality) in the design and delivery of the Transforming Learning strategic initiatives, including course review processes and implementation of new product formats and delivery modes. The incumbent will provide thought leadership and advice on ensuring the Transforming Learning strategy maintains a strong pedagogical base and leads in innovation. As part of this function, the role will work with education leaders across the faculties and support areas in the delivery of the Transforming Learning strategy.

To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Demonstrated strong academic leadership in a tertiary environment and capacity to lead initiatives in learning and teaching
- Demonstrated ability to foster a culture of teaching excellence, and to promote and foster collaborations with academic staff
- A demonstrated track record of research or scholarship including contributions and outputs relating to learning and teaching innovations and the scholarship of teaching
