Senior Administration Officer
Classification: ANU Officer 6/7 (Administration)
Salary Package: $78,956 - $91,157 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Terms: Full time, Continuing Contingent Funded (Expected funding end date June 2021)
The ANU College of Science (CoS) comprises: the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics, the Research School of Biology, the Research School of Chemistry, the Research School of Earth Science, the Fenner School of Environment and Society, the Mathematical Sciences Institute, the Research School of Physics and Engineering, and the Centre for the Public Awareness of Science. Staff and students within the ANU College of Science conduct research and delivers a research-led education program that encompasses the entire breadth of the sciences, supported by extensive international networks and by world-class facilities. The Fenner School of Environment & Society is a world-leading centre for cross-disciplinary environmental and sustainability research, education and policy-relevant advice. Through cutting-edge research and insightful analysis, our academic experts create social, economic and environmental impact and deliver real-world solutions to address complex environmental challenges.
The Senior Administration Officer reports to the Director, Sustainable Farms and works closely with both project staff within the university and in regional locations, along with external partners in Local Land Services and Landcare groups and advisory committee members.
Sustainable Farms is a new and innovative project that is rapidly developing its scope and reach. You will be critical in supporting the development and expansion of the project, finding solutions, creating new pathways and managing new projects.
You will contribute to the success of our work by providing high-level comprehensive administrative support with a focus on reporting, evaluation and engagement activities. You will also be involved in the preparation of funding applications, and briefings and provide advice on policies and procedures to support the achievement of strategic goals.
