The School of Vocational Business Education (VBE) offers a broad range of industry-relevant, globally-oriented, and applied business programs, at Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma and Associate Degree levels, in Melbourne, regional Victoria and around Australia as well as Indonesia and China, to approximately 4000 students.

The Role and Your Responsibilities

The Program Manager (MCPR) is responsible for the management of training, educational and business activities of the marketing and communications and public relations vocational programs in the School's MITL Industry Group.

You will lead the design, development, delivery and evaluation of training and assessment, innovative teaching materials, products and services to meet the needs of enterprises, industry and students. You will participate in relevant activities to ensure that vocational competence to the education level being delivered and assessed is maintained, together with promoting, encouraging and ensuring teaching staff of the program/s to do the same. You will be an active participant within the School's Leadership team.

Skills & Experience Required

The successful applicant will have strong industry experience and specialist content knowledge or qualifications in Marketing or Public Relations and have knowledge and understanding of the vocational education and training sector, including quality assurance systems. You will have the capacity to work closely with teaching staff to promote diversity and innovation in teaching and learning practices.

*You must hold the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; to be appointed at Senior Educator 2, you must hold the TAE50111 Diploma of VET.
