DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE (PARENTS), Resource Development-Office of Individual Giving (OIG), to actively coordinate engagement projects for the benefit of major gift and non-alumni parent prospects in consultation with staff across OIG and Resource Development. Will work with OIG colleagues along with staff and faculty from across the Institute to develop, oversee, and maintain work consistent with engaging philanthropic support for development activities. Will receive strong project management, data analysis, event management, and logistics support in order to assist officers with developing relationships with prospects; building prospect lists; special event planning; ongoing cultivation/stewardship; and other project support. Will report to a senior director.
REQUIRED: at least two years’ relevant work experience; precise attention to accuracy and detail; strong organizational and oral and written communication skills; independent judgment and a high level of discretion, especially with confidential information; initiative and self-motivation; and familiarity with computers and databases. Must be able to analyze, synthesize, and present information; interact well with others; solicit information across departments; prioritize and manage multiple work assignments/projects, meet deadlines, and work under tight time constraints; and function both independently and as a team member.
