Coventry University is a dynamic, global and transformational 'Modern University'. With a proud tradition as a provider of innovative teaching and learning and a focus on impactful research. It is ranked no. 12 UK University in the Guardian University Guide 2018, is the UK's top new university (The Guardian and the Complete University Guides 2018), 4th for student experience and teaching quality (The Times and the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017) and gold TEF award.

Within the Faculty of Business and Law, the School of Law seeks to appoint experienced, highly motivated Lecturers in Law to fill the following posts:

Lecturer in Law x 2 (to deliver flying faculty teaching at our Chinese partner University)

All 4 posts are to cover delivery of all flying faculty teaching at our SWUPL partner in Chongqing, China and/or to teach at Coventry University on the postgraduate or undergraduate programmes; run Summer Schools/Field Trips at CU (for incoming SWUPL-based students) and at SWUPL (for outgoing CU-based students) and to assist with running the Sino-UK Collaborative Programme between CU and SWUPL.

Successful candidate may be required to teach at CU on undergraduate or post graduate modules. We are particularly interested in candidates who can teach Land Law, Equity & Trusts, Banking & Finance Law and EU Law (particularly focusing on those areas relevant to Commercial Law).

The post holder would contribute to the provision of high quality teaching and research at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will join a highly regarded, research active and student-centred team of colleagues in delivering our Law courses.

Our commitment to high quality teaching and research goes hand-in-hand with an equally strong commitment to providing a stimulating and supportive working environment for talented individuals who can make a lasting contribution to our continuing development and success.

Preference will be given to candidates holding PhD or equivalent or a professional qualification.
