Research Nurse Manager

Salary: Grade 7, £35,210 - £39,610 per annum

This post is full time (35 hours) with funding available for 2 years.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Nurse  Manager to join our rheumatology trials team and contribute to the broad spectrum of research studies led by Professor Iain McInnes, Director of Institute of Infection, Immunity and Inflammation. 
 
As Research Nurse Manager you will be required to co-ordinate and conduct several studies within the rheumatoid arthritis and psoriatic arthritis portfolio of studies. Additionally, you will be responsible for the promotion of research projects to the wider rheumatology community with the aim of improving participant recruitment to ongoing and future studies.  
 
You must be a Registered Nurse with relevant experience that demonstrates the appropriate skills for the role. You will have a proven track record in the planning, coordination and conduct of clinical trials along with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work to high standards across a variety of tasks with vigilant regard to scientific and regulatory requirements.

Experience of working with patients who have inflammatory, musculoskeletal, bone and joint diseases is desirable however training can be provided.
