This technician has 3-4 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician and is certified. Technician will be responsible for assisting in the surgery and orthopedic clinics as well as providing care to hospitalized and outpatients. This position will also have expertise in technical procedures and increased medical knowledge base. This technician will also be responsible for teaching Veterinary and Nursing students.
An Associate’s Degree or two year college equivalent and 3 – 4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must be a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, LVT, RVT or equivalent).
