Title of the Project : Preparation of biogenic bimetallic core shell [Pd/Fe] nanoparticles for wastewater bioremediation applications
Qualification : M.Sc Biotechnology/ Microbiology (preferably with NET/GATE). Selected candidate would need to join immediately.
Desirable (if any) :
- Experience in synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles
- Exposure in handling various analytical instruments
- Experience in bioreactor development/wastewater treatment
Stipend : JRF- Rs.25000/- per month and SRF- Rs.28000/- per month. HRA will be paid as per eligibility. The selected candidate will be encouraged to apply for PhD in VIT, Vellore.
Sponsoring Agency : Department of Atomic Energy-Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (DAE-BRNS)
Duration : 3 years (JRF-02 years followed by SRF-1 year) [Initial appointment will be for one year, which is extendable up to 2nd 3rd year, solely based on yearly performance].
Principal Investigator : Dr. Amitava Mukherjee, Senior Professor and Deputy Director, Centre for Nanobiotechnology [CNBT], VIT.
Key skills : Nano materials, Characterization, Waste water microbiology.
