The Programme Management Office (PMO) a directorate that has been set up to support the delivery of the University’s Manchester 2020 strategy. The PMO work across the University to plan and implement a programme of strategic business improvement projects to ensure that the University maintains and builds on its reputation as a world leading University.

In support of this work, we are recruiting a Project Manager to join the existing team. Working within the PMO, you will undertake the project management of business improvement projects, as agreed, working with designated colleagues from within professional support services and/or academic departments to facilitate transformational change and continuous improvement within their areas of operation.

You will have experience of delivering business improvement activities or process reviews (or similar) that have delivered tangible benefits, and be able to demonstrate high level project management skills with experience of the full project lifecycle and the ongoing tracking of successful project delivery.

The Project Manager will report to the Head of Business Improvement. The Project Manager will support improvement projects within the Directorate for the Student Experience (DSE).

The post is being recruited on a fixed term basis for 1 year.
