Grade 8 - £39,609 to £50,132 dependent on experience - Various working patterns available

We are one of the biggest providers of advanced practitioners to the UK; a vibrant community of academics, practitioners and researchers with a commitment to providing high quality research informed teaching, to ensure active learning.

Now we're looking for Senior Lecturers to join our advancing practice team. You will play a significant part in the delivery of our MSc Advanced Clinical Practice and our health courses. You will also have a broad academic remit, including:

  • Planning, delivering and evaluating teaching and learning.
  • Supporting students.
  • Scholarly activity across a range of pre-registration nursing activities.

We're looking for advanced clinical practitioners or clinicians with an independent prescribing qualification and advanced physical assessment and consultation skills. You could be from any healthcare discipline as a professional background. You will combine this with the ability to inspire, enthuse and connect with students, partners and other clients from a range of different backgrounds.

The types of roles you will be doing in the first instance are teaching on our Advanced Physical Assessment and Consultation Skills module, prescribing modules and taking on module leadership, marking and being an academic advisor. It's expected that you would be able to teach across academic levels 4-7.

We have a well formed and diverse team and due to high demand for our courses we're looking for Senior Lecturers to join us for either full or part time work. It's envisaged that this would work alongside a current clinical role. Ideally you will be flexible in terms of which days you work, to meet business need, but a fixed day would also be considered.

Some experience of teaching or training in either a clinical practice or academic environment is essential.
