Reporting to the President and Vice-Chancellor, the Vice President Marketing and Dean of Admissions is responsible for developing the marketing strategy for the University and leading student recruitment internationally. As a member of the President’s Executive and University Board, the key focus of this newly created role is to drive and support the University’s growth plans through the achievement of student recruitment targets and the implementation of strategies and initiatives that enhance the profile and visibility of the unique proposition that Richmond offers.

A record of achievement in a similar role within higher education is essential.   You may already be operating at the Executive level and looking for the opportunity to innovate and develop new approaches or alternatively you may see this opportunity as the next step in your already progressive career within Marketing. You will have had experience across the range of professional Marketing functions and have an established track record of delivery. Candidates must be able to develop effective networks and good working relationships with a wide range of people both within the University and with our partners, prospective students and external organisations.  You will be able to blend leadership and innovation with delivering operational excellence and attention to detail. This is an exciting time to join Richmond University and provides the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the University’s Executive Team.

Richmond, The American International University in London is an independent, private university with dual American and British accreditation and US public charity status, delivering an education in the American liberal arts tradition. With two campuses in a five-acre site in Richmond Hill and Kensington in central London, and study centres in Florence, Rome and Leeds, the University has around 1,500 students from over 60 countries.

Richmond educates a multicultural student body, and with an equally international faculty, places special emphasis on globalism and cultural awareness, preparing students for rewarding lives as active and engaged citizens. Building on recent developments, Richmond is well-positioned to grow its student numbers, expand its provision at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and increase its influence as a pioneer and exemplar of an internationalist liberal arts higher education model.

Richmond is an equal opportunities employer. A Disclosure and Barring check at the enhanced level will be required for this position.
