RMIT University (SVEHS) has tendered for funds under the Workplace Training Innovation Fund (WTIF) Government Strategic Initiative to develop innovative learning and teaching platforms for its industry clients. The project manager will manage the key deliverables of the projects ensuring compliance to the Government framework supporting the WTIF funding model as well as the strategic deliverables aligned to student outcomes.
You will report to the Executive Dean and Deputy Deans on key financials and milestone measures. The position requires high level project management and business analyst skills, and an operational understanding of finance, budgets and necessary stakeholder management experience and capability.
Skills & Experience Required
As the successful candidate you will have an understanding of project management methodology but most importantly you will be able to draw your outstanding stakeholder engagement skills to successfully manage projects to meet agreed outcomes. You will have an analytical mind, with the ability to gather, analyse and interpret a wide range of information and work with subject matter experts to make rational decisions, to develop frameworks for describing and managing complex problems and issues. Knowledge of the VET sector, an understanding of VE compliance, learning and teaching experiences would be highly advantageous.
