The College of Business comprises 7 schools delivering a broad range of programs in Business, ranging from Certificates up to PHD levels. Many programs articulate between Vocational Education and Higher Education, creating pathways for further study. RMIT Business programs are delivered in Melbourne, Vietnam, Singapore, Shanghai and Jakarta, as well as through RMIT Online and Open Universities Australia (OUA).

The role and your responsibilities

This role is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of School programs and courses providing expert administrative support to Program Directors for program review, development, renewal and amendment activity, making a key contribution to the effective delivery of School programs across all cohorts, locations and calendars, ensuring alignment with School, College and University objectives and plans.

You will work collaboratively with Program Directors, the Deputy Head (Learning & Teaching) and key members of the College- wide Student & Programs Teams to coordinate the development and implementation of programs in accordance with regulatory, University and College policy and to facilitate the sharing of knowledge.

Skills and experience required

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in the coordination and delivery of academic services including timetabling, in the tertiary education sector. You will also have effective organisation skills in the planning, development, implementation, operation and review of academic programs and services to achieve a quality learning environment.

You will have the ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and systems consistently, provide advice and to drive creative solutions through to implementation within the immediate work area. Your highly developed organisation, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the proven ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of management, staff and external parties on complex, sensitive and confidential issues will be the key to your success. A relevant tertiary qualifications and/or proven experience are required.
