The Role & Your Responsibilities
The Senior Manager, Partnerships and Industry Engagement is accountable for implementation of the University's Industry Engagement Strategy and achievement of partnerships which deliver both impact and enhanced reputation for RMIT. The position leads business development and business relationship initiatives in the College of Design and Social Context (DSC) by managing existing, and growing new, partnerships, investment, scholarships and internships against annual performance targets set by the Pro Vice-Chancellor, in conjunction with the College Executive. The position works closely with Deans and Associate Deans (Discipline, Research and Innovation and Vocational Education), the Engagement Portfolio, research sector leads in the Research and Innovation Portfolio and with industry development and key account managers in other colleges to ensure alignment with University priorities
Skills & Experience Required
The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in proactive account management within industry and/or a tertiary environment. You will be experienced in achieving results and facilitating outcomes within a relationship management model. Moreover, you have substantial relevant discipline and industry knowledge and a demonstrated ability to identify, understand and articulate academic capability and industry needs.
