This position will provide administrative coordination for educational programs in a new and innovative department at the University of Pennsylvania. The primary function of this position is to serve in the role of administrative coordinator for the onsite educational programs of the Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy, including the Master of Bioethics (MBE) Program (~175 students), the Program in Clinical Ethics Mediation (three workshops per year), the Master of Science in Medical Ethics (MSME) Degree (~10 students), Bioethics Undergraduate Minor and the first-year medical school bioethics course. This person will be an important member of a collaborative and team oriented group. Duties include learning and using our state-of-the-art SalesForce based student application and contact system including reporting, maintenance and updating. In addition, this person will be key in assisting with student and prospective student marketing and relationship management efforts. This position will also provide administrative and course support for the faculty leadership as well as assist with Program related event planning. Important to this position will be the ability to effectively interact with a variety of students and instructors, think creatively about student engagement efforts and maintain excellent relationships across Penn schools.

A High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Excellent oral and written communications skills are required. Experience working with students a plus.
