Job Summary

The Seo lab at the University of Michigan (www.seoresearchlab.com) seeks a postdoctoral research fellow to study the physiological role of iron and manganese in mouse and cell culture models.  

We seek an experienced and dynamic candidate with a commitment to contributing to a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for all members of our community.

Responsibilities*

The applicant is required to function in an independent fashion and be responsible of his/her own research project. In addition, the candidate will be expected to present his/her own work both at lab meetings as well as scientific conferences and to critically analyze literature relevant to the research. 

Required Qualifications*

  • Highly motivated scientist
  • Completion of recent PhD
  • At least one first-authored publication in a quality journal

Desired Qualifications*

Expertise in mouse and cell culture models with relevant to metabolic and neurological disorders.
