The role of Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy will engage in teaching into undergraduate and graduate entry programs in the area of occupational therapy theory and practice and have experience in paediatric, psychosocial or adult physical occupational therapy clinical practice. The position will also be required to develop and maintain a profile in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and contribute pedagogical content knowledge to curriculum development within the discipline. The successful appointee will also perform administrative functions and other activities associated with the School and have the opportunity to engage with professional bodies and a range of internal committees at various levels within the University.
Candidates should possess a qualification in Occupational Therapy, hold (or have significant progress to completing) a PhD and be eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. You should have expert knowledge in occupational therapy theory and practice and have experience in paediatric, psychosocial or adult physical occupational therapy clinical practice. The successful applicant will build on their current research profile and develop a research program focussed on the teaching and learning in Occupational Therapy commensurate with the level of appointment.
The applicant may required to undertake teaching duties in QLD Health clinical facilities; or in an equivalent clinical health facility; or a health care role; or who perform work tasks that put them at risk of exposure to vaccine-preventable disease. It is a condition of employment for this role that you will be required to provide evidence of immunisation against certain vaccine preventable diseases.

This is a full-time, continuing appointment at Academic level B or C. The full-time remuneration package will be as follows:
Academic Level B will be in the range $93,985.59 - $111,607.58 p.a. plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $109,963.14 - $130,580.86 p.a.).
Academic Level C will be in the range $115,131.95 - $132,753.93 p.a. plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $134,704.38 - $155,322.09 p.a.).
