Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University announces an open competition for the position

Lecturer    0,5 (half-time)   

What is expected:

  • japanese native speaker
  • minimal proficiency in Czech or English at B2 level (CEFR)
  • academic degree of Mgr., M.A. or equivalent. Graduates of Teaching Japanese as second/foreign language or graduates of another foreign language education study program are preferred.
  • history/experience in teaching Japanese/foreign language is preferred.
  • Czech republic permanent resident

Job description:

  • teaching and administration of modern Japanese language courses (conversation, listening, colloquial Japanese, Japanese writing) within the Japanese Studies program
  • cooperation in new teaching materials design and production
  • coordination of the department’s linguistic activities concerning modern Japanese language
