The University of Bristol Department of Accounting and Finance invites applications for the position of Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Finance. This is a permanent, full time position, subject to review (tenure track).

Applications are sought from candidates with research interests in any field of finance. Candidates with interests in the links between finance and technology are especially welcome.

Candidates should have completed a PhD, or be close to obtaining a PhD, in finance by the post start date. Successful applicants will have a strong research background with a clear strategy to publish their research in leading international journals. They should also have an aptitude to teach finance to the highest standards at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

We will be conducting informal interviews at the AFA/ASSA meetings in Atlanta, though candidates not attending these meetings are also welcome to apply.
