The ARC Centre of Excellence in Future Low-Energy Electronics Technologies (FLEET) is an international innovator in novel electronics technologies. The centre brings together more than 40 world-leading experts who will apply cutting-edge science to develop a new generation of ultra-low-power electronic devices.
We are seeking an exemplary Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow to join our FLEET team to conduct research in theoretical condensed matter physics, where they will apply and develop many-body techniques to investigate exciton-polariton systems and/or ultracold atomic gases. There will be a particular focus on understanding and probing correlations both in and out of equilibrium.
You will be expected to publish papers in high-impact journals, present results at major conferences and workshops, and to assist in the supervision of PhD and honours students in the centre. The appointment will be made at a level appropriate to your qualifications, experience and in accordance with classification standards for each level.
To be successful in this role, you will have a PhD in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics, or related fields in Theoretical Physics. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to produce presentations and refereed research papers and reports.
