The School of Medicine (SOM) within the Faculty of Science, Medicine and Health (SMAH) is a multidisciplinary school with a range of undergraduate and postgraduate course offerings in the fields of Indigenous Health, Medical and Exercise Science, Medicine, Nutrition and Dietetics. 

The mission of the General Practice Academic Unit within the School of Medicine is to deliver:

  • High quality General Practice research
  • High value input into the Graduate Medicine curriculum
  • Academic leadership within the General Practice  community. 

This position will contribute to the research effort of the General Practice Academic Unit (GPAU) within the School of Medicine. In particular, the appointee will be responsible for project coordination of the EQuIP GP trial across all sites including day-to-day responsibility for the monitoring and management of the UOW arm of the trial. The appointee will liaise with the broader multi-site research team, contribute to qualitative analysis and be responsible for the writing and delivery of the final project report.
