ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, STUDENT LIFE, Sloan School of Management, to oversee the Sloan Student Senate and clubs and their governance and activities (including conferences and competitions). Will advise eighty student clubs on MIT and Sloan policies and processes. Responsibilities include guiding individual students and teams with strategic planning, leadership, project management, and financial process management; overseeing Student Senate and club operations, including governance, finances, funding, elections, internal events, and communications; overseeing high visibility student group initiatives, including conferences and competitions; designing and delivering a comprehensive suite of training programs and services for student leaders; overseeing tactical communication for the Student Life Office, including web and intranet presence; and managing the collection of data measuring student engagement, satisfaction, and development.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred); a minimum of five years of professional work experience; solid knowledge of and interest in graduate professional education; experience using Excel and PowerPoint to analyze data and build compelling presentations; financial management skills; and ability and desire to manage ambiguity and navigate change, work towards team success, build a sense of community, influence others, coach and mentor, and build diversity and inclusion.  Experience with SAP a plus.  Job #16699-P
