The Role and Responsibilities
The Research Fellow will work as a member of a team undertaking research in sustainable construction, focusing on green construction practices, building information modelling (BIM) and/or prefabrication, under the direction of the research group leader. You will develop models and procedures to support the application of innovative information technologies, smart sensors and materials to achieve sustainable construction.
Skills & Experience Required
As the successful candidate you will demonstrate a research track record in sustainable construction area, focusing on green construction practices, building information modelling (BIM) and/or prefabrication. You will demonstrate skills/knowledge in green rating tools and environmental modelling and mathematical optimization techniques. Furthermore, sound knowledge and/or practical experience on current techniques in the building and construction industry in Australia and across the globe is desirable.
