The Department of Geography and Environmental Sciences, Northumbria University, wishes to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer. This is an 8-month full-time post that will involve delivery and administration of teaching in Physical Geography and Environmental Sciences with an emphasis on one or more of the following subject areas: Environmental Management and Sustainability, Ecology, Environmental Policy. 

You must hold a first degree and it is desirable that you should be either qualified or soon to be qualified to Doctoral level in a relevant discipline. You must have subject expertise in Physical Geography and Environmental Sciences with specialist knowledge gained through research activity, professional practice or consultancy. Proven ability to deliver high quality teaching within an appropriate field is essential. Membership (or eligibility for membership) of a relevant professional body is desirable.
