The School has high quality facilities at the UQ Gatton Campus, providing the teaching, research and clinical infrastructure and resources to develop its strong reputation as a leading provider of veterinary training, research and clinical care. The school also maintains a Small Animal Hospital and Large Animal Clinic at Dayboro, north-west of Brisbane.
The primary purpose of this position is to, under supervision and with training related to Veterinary Teaching Hospital processes, provide support and assistance to veterinary staff and to assist Clinical Academics in the undergraduate teaching of veterinary and veterinary technology students in a clinical environment.
Applicants must have completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Veterinary Technology) and/or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology or Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing. You must have knowledge and skills set necessary to perform work in line with Animal Welfare considerations and the ability to learn and carry out clinic-specific protocols.

This is a full-time fixed term appointment of 12 months at level Hew level 3. The remuneration will be in the range $54,041.58 to $59,800.18 plus employer superannuation of 9.5%.
