About the role

The opportunity exists to join an innovative and world renowned research and learning community in the School of Environment, Science and Engineering. The Lecturer or Associate Lecturer will work collaboratively with a team of academics to deliver the marine science and management programs, and support the introduction of the three year bachelor programs at the National Marine Science Centre. This position will undertaking teaching in units including Environmental Mapping, Earth Systems and Chemistry. 

The successful applicant will actively contribute to the School through student centred teaching practice and development, contribute to the research and/or scholarship of teaching profile of the School through their publications, and undertake relevant engagement and service activities to support the School.

To be successful in this role you will have experience in developing and supporting flexible and/or blended course delivery in marine science and management education. You will display a student centred approach to your teaching, enjoy applying new and existing technology and have a commitment to reflective teaching practice. You will have a publication track record, reflective to opportunity, with a research profile that aligns with the School’s.
