The purpose of this position is to manage administrative aspects of the recruitment function as well as processing applications for all degree programs offered by the school (for M thru Z of the alphabet). Management of recruitment functions include: coordination of and registration for all recruitment events, maintaining the recruitment calendar and inventory, and overseeing technical aspects of the College Net Prospect Management Module, which entails: composing and generating emails to all prospective applicants, managing all prospect lists from recruitment fairs, coordinating recruitment events (i.e., On-Campus/Online Information Sessions and Open Houses, etc.) via the College NET Prospect Management Module. Also, generating recruitment related reports from the Prospect Module.

This position works closely with the Web/Strategic Communication Specialist in the coordination and development of recruitment and marketing material including recruitment ads. This involves serving as the liaison with any outside vendors and working with the Admissions team and five degree programs to ensure consistency and accuracy of all recruitment materials. This position is also responsible for the maintenance and continuous updating of all sections of the School website as they pertain to admissions and recruitment, which includes ensuring all photos are obtained with permission and are up to date. Database entry is a significant part of the position as well as designing and generating recruitment related PowerPoint presentations, reports and/or statistics for meetings, as well as On-Campus/Online Information Sessions and Open Houses.

This position is also responsible for coordinating all application and pre-application interviews for the MSW program. Promoting customer satisfaction, through the timely response of all inquiries, promptness in processing applications, and meeting with prospective students in the Associate Director and Associate Dean’s absence is an essential component of this job. This position is also responsible for representing the School at local and national recruitment events, supervising student workers and serving as back-up for the Assistant Director of Admissions. Occasional evening and weekend work is required, as is occasional travel.

High School diploma or GED and 5 to 7 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience are required. A college degree and 2 to 5 years of experience in higher education, preferably in the admissions arena, strongly preferred.

Technical expertise in using MS Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite is required; experience using CollegeNET is preferred. Applicant must have superior organizational and customer service skills.
