We are seeking to appoint a Research Associate to support the running of the large innovative FITNET-NHS trial investigating Internet-delivered treatment in paediatric Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME). The trial recruits teenagers with CFS/ME throughout the UK and treatment is delivered from one clinical service in Bath. The trial has completed its internal pilot trial phase and progressed successfully into the full trial phase. This is a high profile national NIHR-funded clinical trial and represents an exciting opportunity for a candidate interested in developing their experience in working in child health, CFS/ME, and/or in clinical trials.
The post is full-time, with a start of 3rd of December 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The post holder will join a research group led by Prof Crawley and based in the Centre for Academic Child Health, Bristol Medical School
The selection process will take place on 28 November 2018, and will include a test and a formal interview.
