The Helena Kennedy Centre for International Justice is a leading centre for social justice and human rights. It provides a vibrant environment at the cutting edge of legal and criminal justice practice which prepares students for excellence in their chosen professional career.

As a lecturer you will be expected to make an immediate impact in the department teaching on criminal law and practice, using your experience of working in a professional legal environment to inspire our students. You will have responsibility for developing and writing learning and teaching materials for this area and be expected to contribute to research and other forms of scholarly activity as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

You must have an honours degree in law and have well-developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical and theoretical issues relevant to criminal law and practice. Experience of teaching at undergraduate level and the ability to ability to inspire, enthuse and connect with a range of stakeholders (e.g. students and external clients from a wide range of backgrounds) is essential.
