Salary: Band J, starting at £42,036 
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours a week 
Leave: 30 days annual leave plus University closure days 

Purpose of role

We are therefore expanding our innovation and enterprise work to enable us to extend our reach and impact, as well as resource new projects for the University, creating opportunities for our staff and students. 

You will work with academic and enterprise staff in faculties and with the University’s Research Office to support staff in sharing knowledge, demonstrating the impact of their research and undertaking consultancy, contract research and public engagement activity, generating income for the University. You will help to commercialise the University’s research by developing relationships with public, private and third sector clients to build effective research partnerships. 

With experience of working within HE or a research setting, you will have experience of commercialising research and building strong external relationships. You will have strong commercial skills and a track record of securing competitive funding bids. With experience of project management and managing multi-disciplinary collaborations, you will bring excellent interpersonal skills to the role.
