Research Infrastructure Digital Communications Officer
Office of Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research Infrastructure)
On behalf of the University of Queensland the Research Infrastructure Digital communications Officer at UQ will be supporting service provision and facility management across UQ research infrastructure. UQ is combining the collective resources at the university to improve accessibility to cuting edge research infrastructure working with UQ Research Infrastructure centres and other associated large research infrastructure facilities in UQ for the incubation of novel technologies and methods.
The position will contribute to the implementation and maintenance of standards and guidelines relating to management of digital platforms for facilitating research infrastructure management and operations, through to content development, workflow, approvals and production. The position will ensure UQ’s central research infrastructure platforms have an agile and adaptable web presence, that the associated content is maintained, updated and continues to develop with evolving digital content designs and the changing business requirements of the University.
Working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, the position will coordinate and deliver digital content for a number of research infrastructure platforms and associated websites, consistent with the University’s business requirements and strategic objectives.
Applicants should possess qualifications in relevant disciplines. You should also have a strong desire to develop a successful and highly-productive career. Good general research skills, a strong methodological background, excellent statistical and analytic skills, very good writing abilities, and the capacity to work with multidisciplinary research teams.

This is a full-time, fixed term appointment for 12 months at HEW Level 7. The remuneration package will be in the range $83,634 - $91,350 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 9.5% (total package will be in the range $91,579 - $100,028 p.a.).
