Research Technician Associate in Psychology
The Research Technician Associate will be responsible for full time data collection for the UM ABC Baby Research Study. Data collection will take place within research participant homes in communities surrounding Ann Arbor. Daily driving is required and access to a university vehicle will be provided.
This position conducts standardized research protocols with a diverse longitudinal cohort of mothers and infants (ages 2 weeks through 12 months) regarding infant eating behaviors. These protocols may occur in the early morning, late afternoon, or evening. Up to four evenings per week and occasional weekends may be required. The data collection procedures include a combination of video recorded protocols, questionnaire administration, obtaining mother and infant height and weight measurements, and obtaining informed consent from research participants. Additional administrative tasks, such as maintenance of lab equipment and subject recruitment support will occur as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, public health or related field is required.
- This position requires great attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with study participants.
This is a term limited position lasting one year.
