Under the direction of the Business Administrator, this position provides administrative and financial support to VPUL Facilities (Classrooms and Facilities, VPUL Office Facilities, Penn Student Agencies, Perelman Quadrangle/VPUL Performing Arts Facilities). Responsibilities include accounts payable, payroll, purchasing, and on-boarding functions. Serves in a supplementary role to the Perelman Quadrangle reception desk answering phones and greeting visitors for short time-frames daily.
A Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word required
Demonstrates initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Must have demonstrated ability to handle diverse activities and manage projects
Strong written and oral communication skills essential
Customer service experience preferred
Experience with finance, accounting, and higher education and using BEN Financials and PennWorks highly desirable
May be required to wear appropriate clothing as provided
