Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics (Ref.: 201801674) (to commence on January 1, 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary)
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, with teaching experience at the tertiary level. Proficiency in English and enthusiasm for teaching are essential. The appointee will be responsible for teaching undergraduate mathematics-related courses; supervising undergraduate mathematics projects; assisting in curriculum development; and contributing to other teaching related activities, such as liaise with undergraduates in the Department, promote mathematics to the general public, and conduct student recruitment.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
