Salary: £30,395 to £39,609 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post based in the Hearing Sciences Section of the Division of Clinical Neurosciences.
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Administration Manager to provide comprehensive, high level administrative advice and support to 3 senior academic staff and their teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial management of three MRC programme grant awards (approximately £6m in total) and will work closely with principal investigators to develop new research grant applications including costing new proposals. In addition, the Administration Manager will be required to provide advice on policies and procedures relating to human resource management and procurement processes. They will also be required to manage local administrative processes and to ensure that staff, students and visitors have an effective, efficient and safe working environment.
Candidates must have a degree in a relevant subject area plus some experience working in a similar role or a proven track record of extensive relevant work experience. Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills are also essential.
This post will be offered on a fixed term contract until 31 March 2022. The hours of work are part-time, 21 hours per week.
