RESEARCH SUPPORT ASSOCIATEBrain and Cognitive Sciences-Saxe Lab (part-time 20 hrs/wk.), to assist with an fMRI study on social isolation. The main responsibilities will include managing participant recruitment, including communication with participants, screening potential participants, and scheduling experiments); and assisting during experiments and with fMRI scanning.  Additional responsibilities may also include assisting with data analyses and providing other support as needed for lab personnel. Will also take an active role in participating in reading groups and research seminars. This position is ideal for anyone considering future graduate study.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED:  a high school diploma or its equivalent; excellent organizational skills as overseeing a large database of participants will be the main responsibility; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work both independently and as a member of a team; initiative; ability to meet deadlines; meticulous attention to detail; and the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Python and/or MATLAB may be helpful.  A bachelor’s degree and at least a year of exposure to a research lab are preferred.  Job #16676-4
