The position involves complex and sensitive tasks related to conducting several Phase II/III clinical trials. In this position, the staff member will be responsible, with the Principal Investigator, for the effective conduct of research and safety of research subjects.
Clinical Research Coord A : 1) recruit and scheduling subjects for the numerous aspects of the study in strict accordance with the research protocol, 2) administer study interventions, which may involve health coaching, motivational interviews, and mobile device (smartwatch/smartphone)-based interventions, 3) Ensure compliance in strict accordance with FDA (Investigational Drug Application), NIH, Institutional Review Board (IRB), and Office for Clinical Research (OCR) guidelines (this includes yearly progress reports to each agency and reporting of protocol changes), and 4) managing the study subject database. Prior experience with clinical research is required.
Clinical Research Coord B: In addition to the above job duties, ensure that compliance with FDA, NIH, IRB, GCRC, OHR regulatory guidelines are met. Monitor and track subjects for adverse events (routine adverse events and serious adverse events). Includes filing appropriate regulatory documents, and monitoring subject until resolution of the event.
Clinical Research Coord A – Bachelor’s Degree and 1 years to 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Clincial Research Coordinator B – Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years to 4 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
