Trinity College Dublin, The University of Dublin is seeking to fill the following full-time academic position:
B.M. Thapar Chair, Professor of Computer Science. The successful candidate must have:
Candidates must have a PhD in Computer Science or in a relevant research area. The successful candidate will have international work experience and a sustained record of published research output on the topic of Computer Animation, especially in high impact international journals. Candidates will also have demonstrable ability in a research leadership role and a record of high achievement in teaching, supervision, administration and engagement with the community.
Appointment is expected to be made on the Professor salary scale (€114,740 to €140,961 per annum) at a point in line with Irish Government Pay Policy. The successful applicants will be based on the main Trinity Campus, Dublin 2 or designated premises.
