Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Law

De Montfort University Leicester (DMU) is a university with a global outlook and a relentless focus on delivering quality teaching and learning.

This focus has been recognised with a Gold award in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) in 2017 and our diverse population, student exam success and graduate job prospects have seen DMU named University of the Year for Social Inclusion in The Sunday Times Good University Guide for 2019.

Leicester De Montfort Law School is based in the contemporary Hugh Aston Building and the Great Hall of our historic Leicester Castle offering
undergraduate, postgraduate and professional legal education across a broad range of legal disciplines.

We have a thriving student population and a large Criminal Law and Criminal Justice research and teaching team. We focus on the field of private law, with a strong emphasis on global issues and sustainability, as part of our aim to change the mould of legal education and transform justice through knowledge.

We are looking for talented teachers with a strong interest in research areas in contract and commercial law, corporate law and private international law.

We have opportunities for talented new researchers, gifted teachers and established academics who are looking to be part of a dynamic new team.
