The School of Education is a collegial, collaborative and creative space for teaching, learning and research in the discipline of Education. The school recognises the value of education that is relevant and innovative and is therefore a dual sector school that works actively with industry, government and the community partners in real world settings to provide a range of programs from specially tailored intervention programs for young people at risk of leaving education to PhDs in education. These include tertiary pathways and workforce enhancement programs in TAFE and teacher education programs in Higher Education. The Role and Your Responsibilities
The Program Administrative Officer WIL position shares responsibility for supporting first class field education, Work Integrated Learning and mobility experiences for the School of Education students across all programs, modes and locations. They will provide timely and accurate information, advice and service to both internal and external clients of the School of Education.
The Program Administrative Officer will also provide general administrative support including course and program administration, promotional, and general administrative support for the activities undertaken by the Professional Experience Office.
Skills & Experience Required
As the successful candidate you will have experience in working accurately with high volume detailed information and providing high-level administration in a WIL and/or mobility environment within a University or similar large and complex organisation. You will have highly developed administration and customer service skills, including the ability to plan, prioritise, monitor, and evaluate, to meet the needs of a busy office in a multi-faceted role. Important to this role will be high level of computer literacy including: Microsoft, CRMs, email, internet and electronic document management applications.
