Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Bioinformatics in the Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology of the Department of Medicine, to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biological Science or related disciplines with relevant hands-on experience in bioinformatics. They should be competent in using programming languages such as R, Python, Perl, Java and related languages. Experience in analysing Next-Generation Sequencing data would be an advantage. Applicants should also possess good communication skills and interpersonal skills; and be self-motivated and highly independent. The appointee will be responsible for conducting bioinformatics analyses on a number of research projects with Next-Generation Sequencing data. He/She is going to work with a team of young vibrant wet-lab researchers to study immunodysregulation in systemic lupus erythematosus.
