The Workday Training Manager reports to the Project Lead for Change Management and works collaboratively with the Organization Change Management (OCM) team to implement the delivery of high quality training as part of the Workday@Penn change management adoption strategy. Deliver training using approaches tailored to specific end user groups; includes instructor led training, webinars, online computer based learning, drop-in labs and web-based resources. Ensure ongoing training strategy is executed to sustain and address twice yearly Workday system updates using the most effective and efficient methodologies for Penn. Supervise staff.
A Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Prior knowledge of HCM related functions such as human resources and payroll desired along with experience training others using a variety of delivery methods required; prior software training experience preferred. Excellent presentation skills needed. Ability to communicate concepts in a concise, logical manner so others can absorb and retain material is essential. Knowledge and prior experience with implementing online learning preferred.
The successful candidate will be tech savvy, possess sound judgment with a focus on quality, the ability to quickly master new technology, excellent verbal and written communication skills and a passion for learning, teaching, helping others and mastering complex system functionality. Must be flexible and able to adapt to a changing environment while demonstrating professionalism working on a fast-paced focused team. Prior supervisory experience desired. Prior knowledge or exp. with change management processes desired. Solid PC related skills including MS Office Suite and web content development tools; prior Workday experience a plus.
