The Division of Finance is responsible for an array of centralized financial functions of the University. Our various departments are responsible for administrative services that support financial accounting and disbursement activities, research administration, external and internal investments, cash and debt management, risk management and student registration and financial aid.

This position works as a part of a team of Contract Administrators on the Pre-Award team. This person will manage, review and negotiate a broad range of nonmonetary agreements, including, but not limited to, Material Transfer Agreements, Collaboration Agreements, Data Use and Transfer Agreements, Services Agreements, Equipment Loan Agreements and Non-Disclosure/Confidentiality Agreements. This person is responsible for drafting and synthesizing agreements to meet the need of the specific request to ensure faculty support and compliance with University policy. Provide support for processing and tracking Material Transfer

Respond to requests for information from sponsors, faculty and staff on inquiries related to non-monetary agreements. Provides backup to the Research Inventory System Administrator

A Bachelor’s Degree and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required; 3 to 5 years of experience preferred.

Strongly prefer agreement negotiation experience. Prior experience in research administration is a plus. Ideal candidate will be well-organized, detail- oriented and be comfortable with multi-tasking.
