The Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DDAR) is seeking to recruit an outstanding data and insight professional to join its growing Development Services team as Data and Insight Officer.

The DDAR seeks to connect with former students of the University (alumni) and build sustained and growing sources of private gift income and other forms of ‘giving’, for example alumni volunteering, in support of the goals of the University.  The Development Services team is responsible for providing the operational support required for the DDAR to achieve its goals and ensuring colleagues can work efficiently, effectively and appropriately towards these.

This is a new post which is fixed term for two years in the first instance.  It will report directly to the Data and Insight Analyst and would suit a bold, ambitious individual with a strong technical background in database management and experience of the manipulation of large datasets looking to join a dynamic Division with ambitious growth targets. You will be expected to work with integrity and collaboratively with colleagues within the Development Services team and across all teams within the DDAR.

The DDAR aims to provide an outstandingly communicative, engaging, stimulating and rewarding experience to donors and alumni who wish to play a partnership role in taking areas of shared interest forward. The University benefits from the interest and support of the UK's largest alumni community for a campus-based university, maintaining contact with more than 386,000 of its alumni across the globe. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join a successful, growing team and help to University’s alumni engagement and development work to continue to have an impact and make a difference on campus and beyond.
